National Council of Women - "Thai Women Light the Way" Thai Women's NGOs will join hands to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Declaration of Human Rights. A march carrying the torch will start from the United Nations building and move to the house of the National Council of Women in Thailand. There will be theatre performances, speeches by prominent guests on the themes of violence against women and women's human rights. At the end of the event, candles will be lit to symbolize the solidarity of women towards a life free of violence. |
