Proceedings of the
Regional Workshop on Domestic
Violence Legislation:
Moving Towards Regional Networking
and Strategies
December 1-3, 2003 in Bangkok, Thailand
This three day
workshop allowed participants from 11 Asian countries to share their experience in
drafting and passing domestic violence legislation. The main goal of the
workshop was to develop a regional EVAW network that will allow
national organizations to advocate more effectively on the issue of
domestic violence, and other forms of gender-based violence.
Shortly, we will post the conference
papers, and the advocacy kit on domestic violence prepared by our
Regional Programme on Eliminating Violence Against Women.
